Congratulations to Donie Enright who is Munster Champion after winning the Division 3 Munster Singles championship in Killarney last week.
The Division 5 Men’s team played Listowel on Tuesday night and drew 2-2 but on count back unfortunately lost out by 2 aces. Team was Oliver Carmody, Wlliam Quirke, Timmy Larkin and Micheal Nolan.
On Wednesday night the Division 3 team traveled to Castleisland for the final of the mixed League. They were hoping to retain the title which they had won for the past three years however luck wasn’t with them this time and they went down 3-4 to Killarney. Team was Saorcha Fitzgerald, Carmel Hudson, Jeanelle Griffin, Margaret O’Donnell, Donie Enright, Donnacha Moloney and James Sheehan. Many thanks to the large number of people who travelled to support them, the biggest at any final this year many of whom weren’t players, hopefully they might join the club in the future.
Listowel hosted their annual invitation Tournament during the week and our club had the following successes: On Thursday night, William Quirke won the Division 5 comppetition. On Saturday, Carmel Hudson won Division 3 and Eileen Roche won the Veterans.
Next Wednesday night is end of year Tournament night. All players are asked to be in the Community Centre at 8pm.

Dawn Mass:
The Annual Dawn Mass on Easter Sunday, April 24th, 2011 will take place this year at the earlier time of 5:30am. Part of this year’s ceremony will be the blessing of a new section of St. Mary’s Cemetery. Those in attendance will be able to partake of the usual refreshments which will be served in the recently renovated Community Centre after the Mass. The organizing Committee, once again place an open invitation to the people of our neighbouring parishes to come and join us for this joyful celebration.
