Community Games:
Congratulations to the u15 Community Games Badminton team who won gold medals in Killarney last Saturday.
Soccer:
U12 soccer training will continue this Wednesday evening in the Community Centre from 5-6pm. All welcome.
Moyvane Development Association:
The AGM of the Moyvane Development Association was held in the Marian Hall. The following Officers were re-elected:
- Chairperson: Bobby Stack

- Assistant Secretary: Ursula Enright & Liam Roche
- Treasurers: Mike O'Sullivan & Tom Roche

- Junior Committee: Margaret Ann & Aisling Flaherty, Michelle & Jennifer Kennelly.
Monthly meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month.
The Annual Church Gate Collection which will be held shortly and the Village Festival held in October are the Association's main source of income which fund the various projects undertaken each year.
Next committee meeting will take place on Tuesday 4th March in the Marian Hall at 9pm.
Outreach Service:
Outreach Service for the DEAF-HEAR in the Seanchaí Centre, Listowel on Thursday 21st February from 1 – 3pm. This is a free service 064 20053.
Moyvane National School:
Parents who wish to enrol children in Moyvane N.S. for the school year 2008-2009 may collect admission forms in the school from Monday, February 18th.
GAA Fixtures:
Moyvane Seniors are scheduled to play their Round 1 North Kerry League game on Sunday next 24th February. Moyvane play host to Beale and throw in is at 2pm.
Knockanure Community Centre Events:
- Next meal for the elderly will be held on Monday 18th February. Anybody who is unable to attend please contact (068) 49438 or (068) 49250.
- Yoga classes will commence on Friday 22nd February.
- Art and Craft classes will commence on Thursday 29th February at 7.30pm. Enrolment on the night.
Fatima:
Our annual pigrimage for Fatima will leave Shannon on 19th August 2008 for 7 nights, staying at the Avenida Hotel. This hotel is about 5 mins from the grotto and is a 5 star hotel. Full meals and wine provided. Guided tours also available. The new basillica is also open. The weather will be good. A spiritual director will travel with the group. The fare is €779 all in.
