Marian Hall Blotto:

Senior Badminton:
The Division 5 & 3 mixed teams both enjoyed wins during the week. On Monday the 3’s justified the long journey to Sneem on a miserable evening by defeating the home team 6-1. The team was Francine Collins, Carmel Hudson, Jeanelle Griffin, Dermot Keane, James Sheehan, Kevin Kennelly, and Chris McCarthy. The 5’s were at home to Listowel on Thursday and were 5-2 winners, team here was Michelle Corridan, Suzanne Keane, Charlotte Fitzgerald, Celia O’Grady, Jamie Elliott, Timmy O’Flaherty, Jap Carmody, and Liam Corridan.

Moyvane Juvenile Badminton: 
There was a Club’s Tournament held in Tralee Complex  on Saturday, February 16th. Winners & Finalists are as follows: Conor Hogan competed in the Boys Under 11 Final while Jason O’Gorman won the Boys Under 13 and James Flaherty won the Boys Under 15. Moyvane Club finished second overall in a very high standard Clubs Competition. Well done to all.

Nutrition Talk:
A Talk on Nutrition by Maxine Browne, Nutritional Therapist will take place at the Marian Hall on Tuesday, February 26th at 8pm. Admission is free. Everyone welcome.

Moyvane/Knockanure Community Games:
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Church Gate collection on Saturday, February 16th and Sunday February 17th.

Tarbert Comprehensive School:
The Parent’s Association of Tarbert Comprehensive School will hold their annual Fashion Show on Friday, March 8th. A Wine & Cheese reception will kick off the event. The list of exhibitors is impressive, Listowel: Utopia, Everywoman, Dress 2 Impress, Tae Lane, Coco Kids & Perfect Pairs Shoe Boutique. Newcastlewest: Bella Solla, Kimono & Noel’s Menswear. Glin: Bride’s Boutique. Abbeyfeale: Ester’s & Annette’s. Tralee: Deb’s wear by Jasmine Boutique. Ballybunion: East 73rd. Jewellery and Accessories by Sinead Doyle. Men’s & Deb’s Wear will be modeled by the school’s talented transition year students. There will be a Raffle, Door Prize and Spot Prizes all for the only €10. Please support your local school.

Knockfierna Rambling House:
The very popular Knockfierna Rambling House will hold a special night of storytelling, music, singing etc at Kilfinny Community hall on Friday, March 1st at 8pm. So mark your diary for Kilfinny Community Hall for what promises to be a wonderful night’s entertainment. Admission is free. All are welcome.
