Aerobic/Yoga classes start on Wednesday, January 21 at 8pm for eight weeks. Limited places available. Intermediate Computer classes will begin on Monday, January 26 at 8pm and will run for eight weeks. Parent and toddler group meet every Thursday from 10am to 12 noon. New members are welcome. On Sunday afternoon, January 25 you can spend you can enjoy a tea dance from 3pm to 6pm. Music by Stevie Donegan. Spot prizes welcome. A Sewing class with Karen Moriarty will be held on Thursday, January 29 at 8pm. This will include dressmaking, alterations and tuition on the use of sewing machines. The parish was shocked at the sudden death of Eddie Cunningham who was found dead in his home last week. You could meet Eddie every morning on his bike with his briefcase on his way to the village. He is survived by his sister Mary Carmel, brothers Maurice & Pat and extended family.
The death has also taken place in Birmingham of Timmy Nolan of Leitrim Middle. He was the youngest member of the Nolan family and was predeceased by his brother John. He is survived by his wife Brenda, son Mark, daughters Julie, Maxine & Lisa, his brother, Mickie (Leitrim Middle), sisters Mary (Birmingham), Annie (Longford), grandchildren and extended family. May they rest in peace.
