Moyvane

Moyvane Notes – 19th May, 2001

THE Fianna Fail collection will take place this weekend.

Seniors: Moyvane played an exciting draw with Emmets on Saturday night last in the North Kerry league. Conditions were near perfect and both sides served up a close and entertaining game. Moyvane started well and were two points up from Eddie Bowler before Emmets had their first score. Moyvane led at half-time 0-4 to 0-3. Emmets levelled straight after the restart and points were swapped from there to the end of the game. The highlight being a excellent 45 from the accurate boot of Mike Mulvihill. In the last few minutes both sides had their chances to clinch the points but in the end they had to settle for a share of the spoils. Final score was 0-7 points each. Next weekend our senior team have a break as Feale Rangers prepare for the County championship. Our next game will be against Castlegregory in the Intermediate championship on the weekend after next.
