Moyvane seniors lost to Ballylongford in the County League last Saturday and this loss puts us in serious trouble at the wrong end of the table. however, we have three games left and wins would probably save us. Saturday’s game was a very tight affair with only a point or two between them all night. A goal from the penalty spot by John Mulvihill put Moyvane in front, coming up the interval but Ballylongford kept plugging away and got back to lead by one point 0-8 to 1-4 at the break. Points were exchanged all through the second half and with about five minutes to go, Ballylongford led by three points. Moyvane made a grandstand finish and narrowed the gap to one, but they just could not get the equaliser so Ballylongford held on to win on a score of 0-14 to 1-10.

Our minors are still on target for a semi final spot in the North Kerry league. Players are asked to check about their fixture.
