Seniors lost to St Senan’s in the North Kerry league on Saturday night last. This was a very good game with both sides playing some lovely football and taking scores very well. Moyvane had the best of the first half and led by 0-6 to 0-3 at the break. However St. Senan’s came out stronger in the second period and gradually got on top. At the end only two points separated the sides 0-10 to 0-8. William Madden played an excellent game at full-back as did Sean Lynch at centre back. Up front Brian Lenihan, Brian Cunningham and Paudie Fitzmaurice played well. Next Saturday night we play Firies in Moyvane at 6.45pm in the County Intermediate Championship. There will be extra time in this game if needed. This is a great competition so we are hoping for a good result and make progress.
