Senior citizens held their annual Christmas dinner in the Arms Hotel last Sunday. It was a great success with music, song and dance.

Moyvane are once again North Kerry football champions after a tremendous game with Desmonds. This was indeed Moyvane’s finest hour as they played some of the best football seen in North Kerry for some time. This was a big team effort and it will be very difficult to pick a Man of the Match as they all played outstanding.

Congratulations to everybody involved as at times during the year, things were not going very well for them. However, the championship brings out the very best of Moyvane and on Sunday last they proved that there is no substitute for heart and commitment.

The Moyvane Minors play Ballydonoghue in the final of the championship on Sunday, December 28.
