AGM
The A.G.M. of Moyvane Development Association will be held in the Marian Hall next Monday at 9.00pm. All current members and past members who wish to become re-involved, are asked to attend. We also welcome all New Members who would like to become involved and have their say in Moyvane’s development. Participation and involvement are vital to the aims and goals of the Association.
GAA
Moyvane Seniors start their County league campaign on Sun. 28th March with a home game against Scartaglin. More details next week.
Moyvane juniors play Ballydonoghue in Mountcoal in a tournament run by the St.Senans club next Saturday. The game is timed for 4pm.
Bord na nOg ran a very successful coaching coarse last Saturday and was very enjoyable for all concerned.
SOCIAL
Moyvane G.A.A. are running their club social on Fridat March 26 in the Arms Hotel. Tickets are available from Teddy Keane or Martin Kennelly at €25 each. Book early as ticket sales are going very well.
DEATHS
The death took place of Rose Galvin (nee Leahy) Gortaglanna after a short illness. Her remains were removed to Knockanure church on Sunday last and she was buried in Ahavoher cemetery on Monday last. She was in her early fiftys and is surived by her husbuard Monty son and daughter relatives and friends. The death also took place of Paddy Kennlly Dingle and late of Moyvane South. He attended the old school in Moyvane and worked in the local creamey
