Minors:
Moyvane minors lost out to Tarbert in Round 3 of the North Kerry League on a final score of Moyvane 0-11, Tarbert 4-7. Moyvane Scorers: Timmy Noonan 0-6, Con Mulvihill 0-4 and Tom Quinn 0-1.
Seniors: Moyvane are away to Churchill in Round 1of the Division 4 County League on Saturday, March 24th at 4:30pm.
Membership:
  Final chance for club membership.  All names must be registered with Croke Park by March 31st. The cost is, players €40 and non-players €20.  All Coiste na nÓg players must also be registered by this date.
Scór na bPáistí: Best of Luck to the Coiste na nÓg Ballad Group, Amiee Lindsell, Lisa Mulvihill, Margaret Mulvihill, Laura Stack and Lisa Stackpoole who will represent Moyvane and the North Kerry Football Board in the County Final on Sunday, March 25th in the Tintean Theatre in Ballybunion at 2pm.
Club Lotto:  There was no winner of this weeks Jackpot of €6,200.  Numbers drawn were 13   21   28   31.  Lucky Dips of €40 each: Olive Keane, Murhur, Aileen and Aidan Kennelly, Kilbaha, Helen O’Brien, Scrahan, Duagh, Shauna Carey, Willowbrook and Lauren, Rachel & Ronan c/o Galebridge.  Next week’s Jackpot is €6,300 an the draw will take place in Hanrahan’s Bar on Sunday, March 25th at 10pm.
Mini Sevens: Congratulations to Murhur Moyvane National School on winning the girls mini sevens, Cuman na mBunscoil competition played in Ballyduff on Tuesday, March 13th. The girls beat neighbours, Tarbert, Lixnaw and Duagh to reach the final. Moyvane and Ballyduff played a cracker of a game ending in a draw, eventually winning in extra time by a solitary point, great credit to all the girls for their commitment and team work on the day and to team manager Mrs. Quill and Mrs Curtin. Team was Lisa Mulvihill, Patrice Galvin, Ciara Hudson, Moira O’Flaherty captain, Margaret Mulvihill, Laura Stack, Aoife Bowler, Aimee Lindsell, Emer Shine and Claire Galvin.

Senior Badminton:

 The Division 3 team, with one more league match to play appear to be sure of a place in the Final. On Wednesday last they traveled to Sneem and defeated Sneem/Iveragh 7-0. The team was Carmel Hudson, Jeanelle Griffin, Saorcha Fitzgerald, Dermot Keane, Donnacha Moloney and James Sheehan. Division 4s defeated County 5-2 but unfortunately it was not enough to take them through. The team was Louise Behan, Francine Collins, Eleanor Sheehan,Padraig Kearney, Timmy Noonan, Myles Kearney and Chris McCarthy.
Division 5 team, Celia O’Grady, Suzanne Keane, Charlotte Fitzgerald, Eileen Roche, Liam, Corridan, Timmy Flaherty, Oliver Carmody and Mike Ryan (though winning 9 sets to 8) lost 4 games to 3 to Kingdom. The Division 2 & 4 Doubles Championships were played in Castleisland on Sunday and Pat Kearney and Denis Buckley, Moyvane won the Division 2 Championship. Well done to all.

Knockanure Lotto:

Moyvane ICA:
In support of Daffodil Day, the ICA will serve teas at Bingo on Thursday, March 22nd, so if you fancy a treat during the break you will be supporting this very worthy cause.
The AGM of the Moyvane Guild will take place at the Marian Hall on Tuesday, March 27th at 8.30pm. The Guild will host the Kerry Federation AGM at the Marian Hall at 2.30pm on Sunday, April 1st.

Scoil Chorp Chríost:
The Parents’ Association, Knockanure are having a used (clean) clothes, bedlinen, curtains & shoes collection on Friday, March 23rd from 2pm to 3.30pm and on Saturday, March 24th from 3pm to 5pm, at Scoil Chorp Chríost school gate. Knockanure Community Centre:

Easter party time at Knockanure Community Centre and third annual 5km Sponsored Walk on Sunday, April 1st 2012 (don’t be fooled). Assemble at 1.30pm. Registration on the day €10. Refreshments on return and monster Raffle. Activities for the kids will include a fun quiz, Face Painting, Disco with DJ Shicco and Easter Egg Galore for all kids. Admission €3 per child…..family concessions. Please support this great fun packed day…you wont be disappointed. Donation will be going to Listowel Hospice.
