Congratulations to the Moyvane U12 team on reaching the North Kerry Championship Division 3 Final which was played in Clounmacon on Sunday last. Despite all players putting in a great effort on the day, Moyvane were defeated by Finuge. Team: James Flaherty, Niamh Stack, John Finucane, Joe Colsagn, Aidan Enright, Eamon Flaherty, Paul Kennelly, Erin Finucane, Michael Woods, Coln Eright, Liam Corridan (Captain) and Martin Stack. Subs: Brendan Stack, Donal Stack, Patricia Goulding, Ashley Sheehy, Dylan Mulvihill and Paul Greaney.

GAA – Fixtures:
Moyvane seniors are at home to Churchill in the final round of the County League on Sunday 25th November at 2pm. A win for Moyvane would gain the two points needed to reach the play off stage of the competition.
Feale Rangers:
As the celebrations continue in their victory in the County Championship Final, Feale Rangers qualified for 10 finals, won 3 in 1978, 1980 and this year 2007. Feale Rangers is comprised of 8 clubs, those being: Listowel, St. Senans's, Clounmacon, Finuge, Duagh, Moyvane and Knockanure. Knockanure Club was founded in 1901 and in 1949 for one year the area merged with a part of Duagh Parish Islanddanny and were known as the Kilmorna Ramblers. The Moyvane Club was founded in 1923, County Honours include 1 Junior County Championship 1982, 1 Novice County Championship 2006, District Honours Senior : 18 North Kerry Championships, 6 North Kerry Leagues. Minor: 2 North Kerry Championships, 1 North Kerry League, U21 : 1 North Kerry Championship.

- Cookery Demonstration with Denis Doody of Kingdom Kitchen Catering takes place at the Marian Hall, Moyvane, on Tuesday 27th November, at 7.30pm.
- Annual shopping trip to Cork City takes place on Wednesday 28th November. A bus will leave the village at 7.30am. Cost €16.

Death:
The death took place recently of Sr. Maria Kissane, St. John of God Convent, Kilkenny and late of Leitrim East, Moyvane on Nov. 12. She was in her late 70's. Requiem Mass took place on Wednesday in St. Patrick's Church, Kilkenny, followed by burial in Foulkstown Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.
