MARIAN HALL BLOTTO
There was no draw last week due to the Listowel Races. The Jackpot stands at €20,000. The next draw will be on Thursday, September 24th at Bingo in The Marian Hall.

NORTH KERRY COLLEGE OF FURTHER EDUCATION, LISTOWEL
North Kerry college of Further Education Listowel is still taking applications for its programmes at level 5 & 6. These courses include Business & Childcare at levels 5 & 6. Other courses include Art portfolio preparation, Sports & Recreation, Healthcare, Nursing Engineering & Hairdressing. Supports are in place for students to ensure success and excellent progression to other third level colleges for our learners. College director Stephen Goulding said these courses represent a chance for adult learners to upskill and change career direction. We liaise closely with employers to ensure we are meeting Industry standards. The unlikely trio m!et in a run-down basement flat to devise the most exciting thing they’ve ever done in their lives! But when the wives get involved, things start to go badly wrong………

BADMINTON

Moyvane Senior Badminton Club will hold its AGM in the Community Centre on Monday 28th at 8.30pm. All members are asked to attend and new members are welcome. Badminton continues on Monday and Wednesday nights at 8pm.

PARISH MEETING
Great to see a large crowd turn out on Tuesday night in the Marian Hall. Fr. Kevin would like the parish community of Moyvane & Knockanure to work together in order to continue to work on and improve life in our parish and is interested in hearing from any parishioners who have some good ideas which they would like to bring forward and work on. Many thanks to all who attended the meeting, to Denis Doody and his staff for the wonderful food which was on offer and of course to Fr. Kevin for his encouraging words and his enthusiasm in engaging with the people of Moyvane and Knockanure.
