THE Kingdom Hunt club will hold a hunt in Moyvane this Sunday assembling at the village at 12pm. Music and craic in the village afterwards at 4pm.
The Moyvane Society of St. Vincent de Paul held a church gate collection.
Milford Hospice – A Pub Quiz in aid of Milford Hospice will be held at the All-Star Bar on this Friday night, with spot prizes.
The death has occurred of Bridget Thornton, Glenalappa. Her remains were removed to Moyvane Church on Wednesday last. She was buried in the local cemetery following Requiem Mass She is survived by her daughters, son, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
The death has also occurred of Jerry Hanrahan, Aughrim and U.S.A. His remains were removed to Moyvane Church on Monday last. He was buried in Murhur Cemetery following Requiem Mass on Tuesday last. Sympathy has been extended to the bereaved families.
Club Draw – We are almost ready to launch our draw so once again we will be looking for your help. We intend to have a total of six cars plus lots of money prizes on offer. Tickets will be £100 (127 euro). The draw will start on the last Saturday of March and will continue to be held on the last Saturday of each month until August. We have the new 2002 V.W. Polo each month for the first five months and a grand prize of a Mercedes Coupe 180 for our final draw. Tickets will be available from any of the committee.
The Blotto is going well at the present so once again thanks to all our supporters and sellers. We encourage all sellers to keep the effort going and make sure they get their Blotto’s back in, and the more the merrier.
