Aerobics Classes:
Aerobics classes will be held in The Marian Hall on Monday nights from 7pm to 8pm. This is your chance to become fitter and healthier. If you need more information, contact 087 6778128 or 087 1335198.


Moyvane Development Association:
A meeting will be held in The Marian Hall next Tuesday night at 9pm.

Modern Dance Classes:

Modern dance classes will begin this Wednesday afternoon at 3pm in the Marian Hall. If you are young, fit and would like to dance this is your opportunity. 


Moyvane GAA:
Seniors: Moyvane are at home to Beale in Rd 3 of the NKL Div 1 on Sunday, February 28th.  Please check Fixture Posters for time. 

Minors: Moyvane are away to Gneeveguilla in Round 1 of the County League Div 5b on Saturday, February 27th at 2pm.

U21s: Moyvane are through to the Semi Final of the North Kerry Championship (’09) after defeating Knock/Brosna in Knocknagoshel on Saturday last on a final score of Moyvane 1-12 Knock/Brosna 0-11.  Team and Scorers: Brendan Galvin, Conor Leahy, Patrick Finucane, Paddy Greaney, Seamus Lyons, Owen Stack (0-1), Kieran Lane, Diarmuid Leahy, Niall Sheehan (0-3), Martin Sheehy, James Flavin (0-1), Kevin Fitzmaurice (1-0), Steven O’ Carroll, James Noonan, Kevin Kennelly (0-7). 

Membership: Club membership is now available for 2010.  This year membership has to be submitted to Central Council before March 31st.  Anyone who wishes to become a member of Moyvane GAA Club must give their name and membership fee to Club Officers before Friday March 26th 2010.  The fees for 2010 are Players E40.00, Non-players and Youth Membership E20.00.

Scór: Moyvane Ballad Group are through to the Munster Semi Final, which will be held in Millstreet on Sunday March 7th at 3:00pm. Congratulations to Elaine Scarlett, Sinead Dore, Susan Groarke, Josephine Moloney and Aine Cronin.  Well done also to Eileen Cronin, on coming runner-up in the Recitation category.

Ladies GAA: Moyvane and Clounmacon Ladies senior teams have joined forces for the coming year.  The very best of luck to the team in future competitions. Senior Badminton:
It was a very good week for the club. First up was the Division 4 team which defeated County 7-0. Members of team were Saorcha Fitzgerald, Margaret O’Donnell, Elaine Hudson, Eleanor Sheehan, Christopher McCarthy, Billy Lynch, Edward Stack and Padraig Hanrahan. Then on Wednesday the Division 5 team defeated County’s team 7-0.This team was Bridget McCarthy, Olive Keane, Edel Normoyle, Eileen McCarthy, Paul Kennelly, Timmy Hanrahan, and Micheal Nolan. On Thursday one of the teams from the club won the Co. Board fund raising Table Quiz. Winners were Eileen McCarthy, Eileen Roche, Jennifer Keane and Donal Keane.

Knockanure Community Centre:
A physiotherapy clinic has opened at Knockanure Community Centre. This is a branch of the famous First Steps Rehabilitation Centre in Patrickswell.
