DANCING
STEP in to shape with Timmy Woulfe Set Dancing class on Wednesday nights. Beginners at 8pm, all other dancers at 8.30pm.

Exercise classes with Phil O’Connell resume in the Marian Hall this Friday January 21 at 1.30pm.
GUN CLUB
Moyvane/Knockanure Gun Club reminds everyone that it is strictly forbidden to enter sanctuarys to shoot game. The club’s reminder comes on foot of a tip-off about game shooting in a sanctuary in the Moyvane area recently.
GAA
The foundations for the new stand have been poured and the main structure will be erected shortly. The club thanks everyone who has helped to keep the development on track. The club will be selling advertisements for the field soon. The North Kerry league is expected to start on the first week of February.
LIGHTNING
A number of cows were killed following a lightning strike in a farm yard in the locality last week.
DEATHS
The death took place recently of 21-year-old Michelle Foley, Kilmeany, Kilmorna, following a car accident. Her remains were removed to Knockanure Church last Wednesday. She was laid to rest in Ahavoher Cemetery following Requiem Mass last Thursday. She is survived by her father Sean, mother Breda, brother Christopher, sisters Shauna and Leah, grandmother, grandfather, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
The death took place recently of Danny Kennelly (retired Garda) Castlebar, County Mayo and late of Kilbaha, Moyvane. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved families.
AGM
The AGM of the Fianna Fail Cumann will be held in the Marian Hall on Friday January 28 at 8.30pm.
