County Fleadh: Musicians, singers, dancers and storyteller will travel to Kenmare this weekend for the County Fleadh Cheoil.

The county under 16 league starts on Monday, June 24, with a home game against St. Pat’s (Blennerville). Players are asked to be in the dressing room at 7.30 pm.

Moyvane minors start their North Kerry league programme on Thursday, June 27. Their first game is in Moyvane against Brosna. All minor players are asked get organised and be ready for their games.

The juniors had a good win over Desmonds in the junior league on Friday night. This keeps them in contention in the competition and if they can keep this effort going they can qualify for the semi-finals. Final score Moyvane 0 – 11, Desmonds 0 – 8. Next Friday they play Austin Stacks B in Tralee (Connolly Park) at 8 p.m. Players are asked to be in good time.

The June club draw will take place on Saturday, June 29, where a Polo Car will be given away. An extra draw of -6,349 for fully paid up members by the June draw, will take place before the July draw.

Moyvane under 12 are playing Scartaglin on Thursday, night in Scartaglin at 7.30 p.m. Bus will leave the corner at 6.15. On Sunday night they play Aunascaul in Moyvane at 7.15 p.m. Players are asked to be in the dressing room at 7 pm.
