Moyvane Notes – 22nd September, 2008

Set Dancing:
Children’s Set Dancing with Timmy Woulfe commences on Wednesday September 24 at 6pm. Registration on the evening is €10 per child & €20 per family
Adult Set Dancing with Timmy Woulfe is re-commencing at the Marian Hall on Monday September 22, at 8pm for beginners and 8.30pm for all other dancers.

Moyvane ICA:
There will be a Knitting evening at the Marian Hall on Fri September 26, at 8.30pm. Fiona Corcoran of the Greater Chernobyl Cause will be in attendance on the night.

Knockanure Community Centre:
Computer Classes will commence on Monday September 22, at 7pm for eight weeks. Computer Classes for Farmers will also begin Tuesday September 23, September, at 7pm for six weeks. Anyone interested, please contact Patricia at the Community Centre on 086 8392787. Aerobic/Yoga Classes will commence at on Wednesday evening October 1, at 7.30pm-9.30pm. All are welcome.

Singing Classes:
Enrolment for singing classes will be held in Sheehan’s Thatched House Finuge, on Tuesday September 23 from 6pm to 7pm Classes will begin on Tuesday September 30 from 5pm to 6pm for the duration of 12 weeks. For further info contact Mary Mulvihill on 087 6228766.

Night Classes Enrolment will take place in Listowel Community College on Monday September 22 & Tuesday September 23 September from 10am until 3pm and from 7.30 pm to 9pm
Liturgy Group:
The AGM of the Liturgy Group will be held in the Presbytery on Tuesday, September 23 September at 8.30pm.

Bingo & Blotto
Will take place as usual this Thursday night. Don’t forget that you can Spin the Wheel any night and win up to €2,000.

Jimmy Nolan:
I wonder if anyone out there has a picture of Jimmy? Those of you who are old enough to remember will know that Jimmy took all the photographs of local events and weddings. He was the one behind the camera. If you have a picture you might contact  It would be much appreciated.
