Moyvane Notes – 23rd April, 2005


Minors: Moyvane defeated Beale in the County league last week 2-11 to 2-9. Next Friday they play Cordal in Moyvane at 7pm.

Seniors: Moyvane lost to Glenbeigh/Glencar in the County League last Saturday. On this Saturday, they play Churchill in the County Novice championship in Churchill at 7pm.

Stand: While work is progressing, please stay clear and obey the warning signs.

Membership: €10 for ordinary and €30 for players. Closes at the end of April. That just leaves two weeks for people to join up so please don’t be caught out.

U8 and U10: Training starts next Tuesday at 7pm. It is hoped to arrange challenge games soon.

U12s start their County league against Ballydonoghue this Sunday at 7pm in Coolard. Bus leaves the corner at 6.15pm.

U14s play Ballylonford/Asdee in Ballylongford at 7.15pm next Monday. Bus leaves the corner at 6.45pm.

U16s play Duagh in Moyvane on April 27 in the North Kerry league at 7.15pm sharp. All players in the dressing room at 6.45pm.

The Gun Club thank the people of the parish for their contributions to last weekend’s Church Gate Collection. As part of a restocking programme the club released 75 pheasants recently
