The village is looking good as we head towards Tidy Towns Time of year. The hard work and enthusiasm is evident. Moyvane/Knockanure Community Games:
The u15 Badminton team will contest the All Ireland Final in Athlone on Sunday, May 27th. With an overnight stay, the cost is considerable so your support would be greatly appreciated. Donation boxes can be found throughout the village. It is a privilege to compete in an All Ireland final in any sport. We should be proud of our youth.

Senior Badminton:
Playing in Listowel on Friday last, Moyvane won the Division 3 Kerry league title for the fifth time by beating County (Tralee) in the final. Saorcha Fitzgerald and Dermot Keane won both their singles matches. The doubles saw both ladies, Carmel Hudson and Jeanelle Griffin and men, James Sheehan and Donnacha Moloney win their first sets, however the County pairings fought back to take the second and third in the ladies and the men also lost the second and served for the match at 20-19 but, after a battle, lost 22-20, so it was all to play for in the mixed. The first was a replay of the mixed doubles Championship final and this time Saorcha and Donnacha were victorious in two sets as were the other two pairs Carmel & James, and Elaine and Dermot, a 5-2 victory clinched for Moyvane. Michael Corridan and Kevin Stack had played their part in previous matches. Well done to the whole team and their managers Michael Corridan and Donie Enright. A large number of supporters cheered on both teams. Best of luck in the Munster league finals in UL on May 7th.
Mixed Championships: The Division 2 & 4 mixed Championships were played in The Aura Sports complex in Killarney on Sunday. Division 4 winners were Fran Collins and Chris McCarthy, Moyvane. The final resulted in Saorcha Fitzgerald and Donnacha Moloney defeating Carmel Hudson and Donie Enright. The division 2 plate winners were Elaine Hudson and Fergal Hannon (Listowel), finalists Dermot Keane and Michelle Kearney. This  completed a fantastic week for the club.
