Moyvane Notes – 23rd March, 2009

Summer Time:
Don’t forget to put your clocks forward this Saturday night as Summer time begins and let’s hope it’s the beginning of a long hot summer. A repeat of last year is not required!

The annual ICA outing will be held this year on Tuesday, July 7th with a visit to Bunratty Folk Park and a Medieval Banquet in Bunratty Castle. You will be wined and dined and entertained by the Bunratty Folk Singers. If you haven’t done this before, you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s different, it’s entertaining, it’s part of our heritage and, no, it’s not just for Americans! Admission to the Park and Banquet is €50. The cost of the bus will be extra and you don’t have to be a member of the ICA to travel. Please contact Marie Walsh (49277) or Eileen Roche (49337) for bookings.
Next ICA meeting is on Wednesday April 1st at 8pm.

Seniors: Moyvane Senior team had a very convincing win over Castleisland Desmonds in the North Kerry League on Sunday last.
