DEATH
The death took place last  week of Jack Mulvihill, Woodgrove, Moyvane. Jack who had been fighting  illness for the past few months finally lost his battle at the early age of 59. A native of Athea he was well known in North Kerry and West  Limerick and most people would have tasted Jack’s chips either in  Ballybunion over the years or later in Moyvane. Known as Jack Athea or  Jack the Chipper he was a pleasant, sociable man and a great family man. He enjoyed his pipe, a pint and a flutter on the horses. Sincere  sympathy is extended to his wife, Margaret, sons, Mike, John Jack and  Paul. Jack’s funeral Mass was celebrated in the Church of the  Assumption, Moyvane on Tuesday, June 17th followed by burial in Ahavoher Cemetery, Moyvane.
