Bingo:
The old order is restored, Bingo and Blotto again this Thursday night in the Marian Hall. Lots of money up for grabs. €3,000 or thereabouts to be won at Bingo and the Blotto Jackpot is €8,000.

Parent & Toddler Group:

Moyvane parent and toddle group back Wednesday, September 25th in the Marian Hall from 10am to 12 midday. €3 per family. Contact Liz at 0877560991 or Citse at 0871216516

Moyvane National School:
Don’t forget the 5K, 10K Walk/Run this Sunday, September 29th. Registration will be at 12 noon in Moyvane and the entry fee is €10. Come on, support your local school and help pay for the new football pitch at the back of the school which will be a huge asset to the pupils into the future. It’s your school, they’re your children so “just do it”.

Set Dancing:

A note to advanced set dancers, classes every Monday night in the Marian Hall at 8.30pm. Beginners still welcome.

Listowel Community College:

Listowel Community College will be enrolling for its Autumn programme of night classes on September 30th and October 1st between 7.30pm and 9pm. Calling All Women:

 The Equality For Women Measure are offering Free Part Time Courses starting in October. Courses on offer include Personal Development, Career Options, Computers and much more. Information Mornings are 10am to 12.30pm in the following locations Tralee St Brigid’s Community Centre Hawley Park on October 1st, Castleisland N.E.K.D Offices on October 2nd and in Listowel Family Resource Centre on October 3rd. Horse & Pony Racing:
The long and proud tradition of the Ballylongford Races will be continued on Sunday next September 29th as the Annual Horse and Pony Races takes place at Jerry & Marguerite Moran’s lands at Lenamore two miles outside the village on the Moyvane Road, beginning at 1.30pm. This promises to be a wonderful occasion with nine races on the card with Ponies and Horses coming from all over Munster. There will also be plenty of side shows for children to enjoy. So why not be part of an afternoon of fun and sport by coming out for the Annual “BALLY RACES”. Asdee Races will be held on Sunday week, October 6. This will be the will be the final Horse & Pony Race Meeting of 2013 in the Southern Circuit and will be held on Littor Strand. A rather early start is scheduled here with the first race of an eight race programme getting under way at 12.30pm sharp. 

Listowel Rambling House:

Listowel Rambling House will take place in the Seanchaí Literary & Cultural Centre, The Square, Listowel on Thursday, September 26th from 9pm.  Enjoy an evening of traditional Irish music, song, dance & storytelling in an informal setting.  Admission free, tea/coffee served.  For more information tel.
