Moyvane seniors played an exciting draw with St. Senans in the county league on Saturday. The heavy rain that fell all day made conditions tricky but both sides served a very good game of football. Tight marking by both defences made scores hard to come by. St. Senans scored two points early but by half-time Moyvane had drawn level at 0 – 4 points each. The second half was the same pattern as the first with scores hard earned. At the final whistle the sides were level at 0 – 7 points each which in the end kept our unbeaten run going and well in position on the table. Next Saturday Moyvane play Cordal in the first round of the County Junior championship. This is a competition which we would liketo make progress in so let’s hope the lads get the right result. The game is timed for 7.00pm sharp in Knocknagoshel. Extra time if needed.

Moyvane minors play St. Senans in Mountcoal on Friday in the County league at 7.30pm. Moyvane Juniors are playing Ballyduff in Ballyduff at 7.30pm in the North Kerry league next Tuesday.

The under-14s have a bye this Monday in the County league, and on Monday, May 3 they play Gneeveguilla in Gneeveguilla at 7.30pm. Bus will leave the corner at 6pm.

The under-12s start their County league campaign on Sunday evening next with a game against Ballylongford/Asdee in Moyvane at 7.00pm. All players are asked to be in the dressing room at 6.30pm.
