Moyvane Notes – 24th March, 2001

THE Kerry finals and play off of County games will begin this weekend as hall and venues become available, managers and teams will be notified of events. U-16 choirs and culture corner will be held in the Marian Hall, Moyvane on Sunday, April 1, at 2 p.m. Other events are U-15 Badminton, U-13 girls basketball; U-13 indoor soccer. The Moyvane Knockanure Community Games Committee has conveyed it’s deepest sympathy to the Hanrahan Family, The Hill, Moyvane, on the death of their grandfather Jack Crowley, Farranfore.

Moyvane GAA minors, are playing Beale in Moyvane on Saturday, March 24 at 5 p.m. in the County league. All players are asked to be in the dressing room at 4.30 sharp. Seniors, are playing Valentia in the first round of the County league on Sunday next, March 25, in Portmagee at 2.15 p.m. It is important to get off to a good start in this league in order to keep ourselves in contention right through. Players should allow two and a half hours for the journey. It is very important that all players for the journey. It is very important that all players be members of the club, so please any player who has not yet joined they should do so now. The North Kerry league is due to start on April 1. Moyvane is down to play Ballyduff in Moyvane. More details next week.

Registration will take place this Sunday in the dressing rooms things going well. All under age players must sign up and be properly registered. Any player singing up for the first time must bring a baptismal cert with them. Starting time 12 noon.
