GAA NOTES
LOTTO
The G.A.A. Lotto is now running a few weeks and going very well and again we thank everybody for their help and support.   The option of paying for a year in advance is open to everybody at 100 Euro.  Contact any committee member.

SENIORS   Moyvane defeated Ballydonoghue in the North Kerry championship on Sun. last in Ballylongford.    The weather was damp and misty which made handling of the ball a bit difficult.   Both sides found scoring very hard as the defences were well on top.   Exchanges were tough and fair and no effort was spared by either side.   The half-time score was 0 – 3 to 0 – 2 in Ballydonoghue’s favour.   Moyvane upped the tempo in the second period and picked off some good points and in a grandstand finish held on to win on a score of 0 – 7 to 0 – 5.   Eventhough the scoring was low the game itself was exciting especially in the second half.  Moyvane now go on to meet Emmets in the quarter-final. Date to be clarified.

JUNIORS    Moyvane are fixed to play Asdee on Sun. 13th Nov. in Ballybunion at 1pm.   More details next week.

MINORS    Moyvane play St. Senans in the semi-final of the North Kerry championship on Mon. 31st Oct. in Finuge at 2.30pm.   We have a nice young team and lets hope they can move into the final.  Best of luck to Joseph Curtin and his lads on Mon.

TEE SHIRTS     Moyvane G.A.A. are still selling club Tee-shirts at €15 each.   They are good value and you are supporting your local club.

Best wishes to Pat Moore late of Glenalappa Moyvane whose dog Final Showdown will be in the final of Laurance in Cork this sat. night
