Moyvane Notes – 24th September, 2012

Bingo:
After a break for Listowel Races, Bingo is back as usual this Thursday night. The Marian Hall is warm and comfortable with €3,000 plus to be won on the night so why not come along have a night out with a chance to win some decent money. The Blotto Jackpot is €10,000 and the draw will also be held on the night.

Moyvane Youth Club:
Registration will take place for Youth Club membership on Friday September 28th from 8pm to 9pm in the Community Centre – for ONE night only!! Registration fee is €20 for one family member, €30 for two. Youth Club activities will take place from the Friday night following (Ocober 5th). Ring Dianne on 0877944642 for further details.

Ballylongford/Tarbert CCE:
Music classes for beginners only this Friday night September 28th at 7pm in St. Oliver’s National School, Ballylongford. All other students start back on Friday October 5th at usual times.

Indoor Market & Table Top Sale:
On Sunday, October 7th you will have a great opportunity to sell cakes, crafts, jewellery, clothing, gifts etc. at Knockanure Community Centre from 2pm to 5pm.  Table cost €10. To book table(s) or for more Information please contact 068 49799.. 087 7528626. Just a few tables left….

Internet Training for Farmers:
Internet training for farmers will take place in Listowel Community College on Monday nights, starting October 1st at 7.30pm for 8 weeks. Cost just €30. For more information & to book your place, please contact Hilary Egan at North & East Kerry Development on 068 23429.

Heidi Deegan:
Heidi Deegan, along with her parents Patrick and Angela, family and relatives wish to thank everyone who helped in making Sunday, September 9th a really great fun day in Ballylongford. Thanks to everyone who contributed most generously to the envelope collection. Thanks to Ballylongford Benevolent Society and anyone who helped in any way.

Moyvane GAA:
Minor Championship:
  Moyvane will play Tarbert in the North Kerry Minor Championship Semi Final in Ballylongford on Saturday, September 29th at 3pm.  Please check posters in the village for any updates to fixtures as changes can be made at the last minute.
Race Night 2012: Moyvane GAA held a very successful fundraising video race night in Brosnan’s Bar on Thursday last, September 20th.  Many thanks to everyone who made this night possible. Thanks to Molly and staff and Brosnan’s, Ger Keane for supplying the races on the night, all who bought horses for the race book, took out ads in the race book and participated in the auction race, to Tulsa and staff at Inprint, Listowel, those who ran the Tote (and Katie Galvin, the superb roving bookie!!), to everyone who attended on the night and especially to Oliver "Jap" Carmody who was an amazing M/C and we are glad to say a great night was had by all.
Club Lotto: There was no winner of last week’s Jackpot of €8,900.  Numbers drawn were 20   22   23  25.  Lucky Dips of €40 each:  Micheal Fogarty, Moyvane, Aileen & Aidan Kennelly, Kilbaha, Pat Guiney c/o Pat Scanlon, Mike Broderick, Ballybunion and Elaine McGuire, Listowel.  Next week’s Jackpot is €9,000 and the draw will be held in Brosnan’s Bar on Sunday, September 30th at 10pm.
