Community Games:
Best of luck to the Moyvane/Knockanure u12 and u14 skittle teams who are representing Kerry in the Munster Community Games Finals in Tralee on Saturday, June 29th. The u12 team is Ciara Hudson, Conor Hogan, Kieran Swan, Sean Stackpoole, Dion Pierce, Eamon O’Connor and Ryan Large. The u14 team is Darren Hughes, Ben Thomson, Lisa Stackpoole, Muireann Kennelly, Christopher Keane, Josephine Hughes and Maire Kennelly. Well done to all the athletes who competed in the County Finals last week and to Patrick O’Connor on reaching the Semi Finals of the u8 80 metres.

Listowel Rambling House:
Listowel Rambling House will take place in the Seanchaí Literary & Cultural Centre, The Square, Listowel on Thursday, June 27th from 9pm.  Enjoy an evening of traditional Irish music, song, dance & storytelling in an informal setting.  Admission free, tea/coffee served.  For more information tel. Family Fun Day:
Here’s your date to remember, Sunday June 30th. Where? In Moyvane GAA football pitch, Con Brosnan Park from 2pm to 5pm.  This a fundraiser for Moyvane National School. A great day of events organised: Races, Bouncy Castles, BBQ, Penalty Shoot Out, Wellie Throwing and Raffles etc. Please support this event in aid of the school. A great day to be had by all.

The death took place recently of David Riordan of Moyvane South and Chicago. Sympathy is extended to his family in particular brother Dan Joe & sister Mary Ellen Flaherty. May he rest in peace.
