Best of luck to Breda Lane from everyone in Moyvane GAA for being selected on the Kerry Ladies Minor Team.
Coiste na nOg:
A great night was held last Friday night when Darragh O Se presented medals to the U/12, U/14 and the school teams.
The U/14 started their County League programme with a win away to Annuascal. They play Tarbert this Thursday evening at 6.45pm in Tarbert.
The museum was opened in the school by Gabriel Fitzmaurice on Wednesday night last. There is a lot of photos and intresting items on display and I am sure there is a lot of items throughout the parish which would be a nice place to display them.
Old Saying:
Great minds think alike!
North Kerry Together:
North Kerry Together and its West Limerick equivalents are organising a petition to lobby for a daily Bus Eireann Service linking Knockanure and Moyvane to Tralee and Limerick. It is envisaged that the bus would arrive in Tralee and Limerick before 9am and depart on the return journey after 5pm. It would suit workers, people doing training or apprenticeships, students, people with hospital appointments and those making hospital visits, as well as those who wish to avail of train and bus connections to other parts of the country. The bus would run 5 days a week and also serve the villages of Ardagh, Carraigkerry and Athea. Your signature is important so please sign the petitions in the Church porch, Holly’s Supermarket, Stack’s Butchers and Brosnan’s Bar. Please do not sign the petition more than once. If you would like more information, please phone 087 9593219 / 087 3290483
