Ladies Football:
The season has started again with the u12s out first, they have three games played with two wins, against Ballymac and Beale but lost out to a stronger Finuge team. Our team is young but not lacking in spirit so keep it up. Games coming up this week are against Duagh and Castlegregory. The u16s were away last week to Beale and ended with a good game and a good win.

Moyvane GAA: 

Seniors: Moyvane Seniors lost their first round County League Division 4 game away to St. Senans on Saturday last on a final score of Moyvane 3-3, St. Senans 2-12.
€100 Lotto: Again this year Moyvane GAA are offering you the opportunity to buy the lotto for a yearly sum of €100, which gives you two free draws per year. For further details please contact any committee member.
Club Lotto: There was no winner of this week’s Jackpot of €11,400.  Numbers drawn were 7, 20, 26 and 31. Lucky Dips of €40 each: Brian Fitzgerald c/o M. Brosnan. Elma Kennelly c/o P. Scanlon. Scór Encore:  Well done to the Moyvane Scór na nOg Ballad Group, ‘Glór Maigh Mheain’ who gave a great performance on Scor Encore on TG4 on Sunday last. The girls sang Home Away From Home and received great comments from all three adjudicators.  This was a great achievement for Amiee Lindsell, Lisa Mulvihill, Margaret Mulvihill, Laura Stack and Lisa Stackpoole. Both your Club and Parish are very proud of your efforts.

Fitness Classes:

Easter Party Time:
Knockanure Community Centre will hold a party on Easter Sunday, March 31st from 4pm to 6pm. Come along and enjoy a great party with Easter Egg Hunt, Egg & Spoon Race, Disco, Raffle and much more… Admission €4 with family rates available with adults FREE. Art Competition will be judged by Minister Jimmy Deenihan at 6pm. All Welcome.

Listowel Rambling House:
The Seanchaí Literary & Cultural Centre, The Square, Listowel will host the Rambling House on Thursday, March 28th from 9.pm.  Enjoy an evening of traditional Irish music, song, dance & storytelling in an informal setting.  Admission free, tea/coffee served.  For more information tel. Recent Deaths:
Sympathy is extended to the Kiely family of Aughrim on the loss of their daughter and sister, Noirin whose death and funeral took place recently in London. She is survived by her mother Madge, sisters, brothers and extended family.
The death took place suddenly of Carol Ann Flahavan of Moyvane North and England. Ann and her husband Chris moved to Moyvane, and although they were only resident here for a short time they became active members of the community and were involved in organisations such as the ICA and the Development Association. Sympathy is extended to her husband Chris, son, daughter and  grandchildren. Following requiem Mass in The Church of the Assumption, Moyvane, Ann Flahavan was laid to rest in Ahavoher.
