2024 is over, gone. I hope it was a good one for you and that all your family had a happy and healthy year. Life is a mixed bag, good for some, not so good for others so let us think about those who have been affected by illness or loss. 2025 is here and hopefully it will be good to all of us. We should make an effort to look out for our neighbours, think of those who don’t have family and if possible call for a chat occasionally. We have always been friendly and caring and the “local thing” has always been important to us so let us show that we still care. When you meet someone on the street or the road, say hello, it costs nothing and perhaps that person is having a bad day, perhaps you are the first person who passed the time of day with them. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours.
