MOYVANE SENIOR BADMINTON:
It has been another very good week for the Club. On Monday night the Division 3 Ladies defeated Killarney 5-1 at home in The Agri Auto Parts League. The team was Carmel Hudson, Helen Browne, Jeanelle Griffin and Lisa Sayers and on Wednesday night the same team defeated Kingdom 5-1. On Wednesday night also the Division 4″B” team defeated County 5-1 at home in the Speedy’s Bar Men’s League. The team here was Jamie Elliott, Ivan O’Brien, John McGrath and Timmy Noonan. Sunday was a big day in UL when two Moyvane players swept the boards in the Munster Grade G tournament.Jamie Elliot won the Singles and then teamed up with Timmy Hanrahan to win the Doubles. Timmy later teamed up with Susan McCarthy of Cork to win the Mixed Doubles. Congratulations to all on a job well done.

MOYVANE JUVENILE BADMINTON:
There was a Girls & Boys Singles Tournament was held in the Aura Sport Complex Centre in Killarney on Saturday, November 16th. Winner of the u17’s was James Flaherty. Well done to all who participated.

HARD TIMES 1:
Hard Times 1 will be screened in the Classic Cinema, Listowel on Friday, December 6th at 8pm.  All proceeds donated to Aras Mhuire Nursing Home, Listowel.  Set in Kerry in the 1950’s.  A story about a servant girl looking for work.  A farmer employs her and she sees hard times.  A local cast from Athea, Glin and Moyvane, plus 60 extras. The film is 2 hrs.  Your support would be appreciated.

SENIOR CITIZENS:
Chiropodist will attend Marian Hall on Friday 29th November at 12 o’clock.  For appointment ring Eileen Quinn 49472.

CHRISTMAS PARTY:
Senior Citizens Christmas Party will take place in the Marian Hall on Sunday, December 1st.  Mass at 1.00pm followed by Dinner, Music, Dancing and Aftenoon Tea. Cost €15.  Book with Ita 49134 or Maureen 49365. Spot Prizes from local Business people would be appreciated.

ICA:

KNOCKANURE COMMUNITY CENTRE:
