MINOR COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP: North Kerry Rangers were part of a game that had everything in Austin Stack Park last Friday. This game was a credit to both teams and management but unfortunately North Kerry came out the wrong side after 80 minutes plus and penalties. It was a game that had everything. Moyvane were well represented having four players starting the game, Oisin Kennelly, Conor Sweeney, Jack O’Keeffe and Jerh Brosnan. Rian Quinn, Patrick O’Connor and Jamie Moloney also played a part. North Kerry dominated the first half but only led by three points at half time. East Kerry took over early in the second half and it took two late points by Cormac Dillon to level at 0-10 each and bring the game to extra time but the game still remained level and went to the dreaded penalties. With the rain pouring down East Kerry kept their nerve and booked their place in the final.
