MOYVANE  GAA NOTES
SENIORS   Moyvane had a great victory in the County league on Sat. night last against Tousist on a score of 1 – 11 to 0 – 10.   This was a big team effort with everybody giving their all in the cause.  The crucial goal came well into the second half from D.J.Mulvihill who finished off a great move with a well taken shot to put daylight between the sides.   The performances of younger players Cal and Damien Flynn and Aiden Keane was very encouraging particularly the free taking of Damien Flynn who put over some excellent and vital points.    Our defence were very tight and Tousist found it hard to get a goal chance.  On Sat. night next Moyvane play Brosna in a back County league game in Brosna at the earlier time of 7.30pm.   Again this is a very important game for our lads so again another big effort is looked for.

Moyvane lost to Knock/Brosna in the North Kerry league last week so their chance of reaching the semi-final is now gone.   We play Duagh on Thurs. night next in Moyvane in the final round at 8pm.

STAND    Some groundwork now has to be done to the surrounds of the stand so we ask patrons to be careful when in that area.   Hopefully we will be in a position to open it very soon and make going to games a bit more comfortable.  Again thanks to everybody for your co-operation.

TEE SHIRTS   Moyvane G.A.A. tee shirts are on sale from the secretary Teddy Keane at 15 Euro each.    Sales are going well so make sure you get your order in .

BLOTTO    The G.A.A. ask their supporters and players to help sell more blotto as we are totally depending on its income for to run the club.
