On Tues. The div. 5 Ladies defeated Listowel(1) 6-0 in Listowel , team was
Brid Fitzgerald, Noirin Buckley, Deirdre McElligott, & Eileen Roche and on
Friday night the same team defeated Listowel(2) by 5-1 thus winning the
North section and securing their place in the final which will be played
against either Kenmare or Killarney in the coming weeks.Well done and good
luck.
The Div. 4 team of Catriona Ambrose, Mary Lynch, Carolanne Warrilow, Mgt. A.
Flaherty, Dermot Keane, Donal Enright, Ed. McCarthy, and Christopher
McCarthy defeated Killarney on Fri. night. They have won all matches so far
and play their last match in the section on Wed. next and a win there will
guarantee them a place in the the Final, so good luck to them.

 

 

MOYVANE  GAA NOTES

CLUB DRAW    We have to put back our club draw for a few weeks as we have not reached our targets yet.  We will notify everybody well in advance of the new draw date. We need to up the anti and get out and sell otherwise we will be under pressure to clear off the debts.  Will all tickets sellers please try and get sold receipts back so that we can write them up.  A big effort is called for and hopefully this will work for us.

 

SENIORS     Moyvane defeated a weak St.Senans outfit in the final game of the North Kerry league last weekend. Moyvane were also short a few regulars but the lads put in a very good performance and were full value for their 2 – 15 to 1 – 3 win.   Next Sun. we play Keel in the County league in Moyvane at 2.30pm.  This is a vital game for us as to go well in the league you have to win your home games.  So the very best of luck to the lads and lets get out and support them.

 

 

MINORS    Moyvane play Duagh in the County minor league on Fri. night in Moyvane at 6pm.  All players are asked to be in dressing room at 5.45sharp.

 

UNDER 12    Training for the Under 12 on Sun. morning at 12noon.   All players are asked to be on good time.

 

UNDER10 &8   Training for our Under 10 and Under 8 start on Tues. night at 7pm.

Again all players are asked to be there in good time.
