Moyvane GAA – Seniors:
Moyvane made their exit from the North Kerry Championship on Saturday last when they were defeated by Emmets in Ballybunion. After a very good first half where Moyvane played their best football this year, they led on a scoreline of 1-5 to 0-4, the goal coming just before the break after a great finish from Brian Stack. However, Emmets made the better start in the second half and cancelled Moyvane's lead in eight minutes. It looked like Emmets would ease to a comfortable win but Moyvane dug in and the next twenty minutes were scoreless as both sides sought the winner. That came when Noel Kennelly pointed a long-range free. Final score: Moyvane 1-5, Emmets 0-9. That finishes our senior football for this year so well done to everybody involved.
