MOYVANE COMMUNITY SPORTS HALL
It’s hard to believe that the community centre is 33 years old but it is. The building was completed in 1984. The roof had reached the end of it’s life and was leaking and damaging the maple floor in the building as well as the purlins so for that reason it had to be replaced. As the original roof was asbestos it had to be disposed of environmentally which is a specialist job and adds to the cost. The building now has a new roof, the expensive maple floor is protected and all is well with the building but these things don’t come cheap and for that reason the committee is appealing to the generosity of local businesses, sporting and other organisations and to you the public for donations to help defray the costs of this project. Please contact any member of the committee listed below: Maurice O’Connell, Jerry Brosnan, Seamus Roche, Teddy Keane, Mike Corridan, Michael O’Sullivan, Eileen Kennelly.

CHIROPODIST
The chiropodist will be in the Marian Hall, Moyvane on Friday, June 30th. Call Eileen Quinn for an appointment on 49472.
