Moyvane minors were unlucky to lose against Cordal in the final round of the county league on Friday night last. If we had won we would have qualified for the playoffs but after a very good game Cordal came out on top with a score of Cordal 3-6 Moyvane 2-3.

Under/12’s play Scartaglin in Moyvane on Sunday. Players are asked to check with Micheal Walsh about the starting time.

The seniors lost to Firies in the County Intermediate championship on Saturday night last in Moyvane. The return of 0-4 points for an hour’s work shows just how well the forwards were held. We did miss a few scoring chances from frees but at no stage did we look like getting through for a goal. The backs were solid enough and mid-field broke even despite the presence of Donal Daly but the lack of punch up front cost dearly. Final score Firies 0-8 Moyvane 0-4. The next game is against Waterville on weekend May 5 in Waterville.
