Moyvane GAA:
Results: Moyvane were unlucky to lose out to Listowel Emmets by 1 point in the Final of the 2008 U21 North Kerry Championship, played in Ballybunion on Wednesday last. Emmets had a 3 point lead at the break 1-5 to 1-8 but a very spirited Moyvane performance in the second half saw them narrow the gap to just 1 point. Final score, Moyvane 2-8, Listowel Emmets 1-12. Moyvane scorers: Paddy Curtin 0-7, James Noonan 1-0, Kieran Lane 1-0, Kevin Kennelly 0-1. Congratulations to the team and management on reaching the final.
Fixtures: Moyvane U21’s will play Knocknagoshel/Brosna in Knocknagoshel in the quarter final of the County Club Shield on Tuesday, September 1st at 6:30pm.

DVD Launch: The launch of a DVD celebrating the Moyvane U12 boys trip to Croke Park will be held in Brosnan’s Bar on Friday September 4th at 9pm. DVD’s costing €10 will be on sale on the night. The winner of Moyvane Coiste na nOg/Moyvane Ladies GAA “Guess the Score of Kerry v Meath” will be announced on the night.
