GAA – Results:
Moyvane juniors lost to Clounmacon on Tuesday, 22nd May in the first round of the County Junior League. In the second round of the League on Friday last, Moyvane beat Ballydonoghue on a scoreline of Moyvane 1-5 to Ballydonoghue 1-3.
Moyvane seniors were beaten by Listry in a very close-fought County League game on Saturday last. The scoreline was: Moyvane 0-13, Listry 0-14.
Fixtures:
Moyvane seniors are at home to Ballydonoghue in the NKL on Saturday 2nd June at 7:30pm.
Moyvane juniors play Ballyduff in the NKL semi final on Tuesday 5th June in Ballybunion at 8pm.
VTOS Information Morning:
Listowel Community College VTOS Open Information Morning takes place on Wednesday, 30th May from 10am to 1pm for adults wishing to return to education. Details regarding the course will be available on the morning. Contact Rena Liston on 068-21023 for information.
Arts & Crafts Fair:
The Seachaí Centre, Listowel presents an Arts & Craft Fair on Saturday 2nd June as part of Writers Week 2007. Items for sale will include woodwork, knitwear, toys, greeting cards, ceramics, jewellery, photography & paintings. Doors open at 11am.

Writers Week:
The Writers Week Historical & Literary Tour 2007 leaves the Square, Listowel on Saturday 2nd at 2pm and travels to the War of Independence Monument at Gortaglanna. We continue to the village of Knockanure to visit the unique church designed by distinguished architect, Michael Scott. We then travel through the village of Moyvane and the townland of Lenamore to the village of Ballylongford, where we visit Carrigafoyle Castle. Our tour finishes in Finucanes Bar, Ballylongford for entertainment and light refreshments. Tickets are €15 and can be booked through the Writers Week Office, tel. (068) 21074.
