Senior Citizens Party:

You are invited to the Marian Hall, Moyvane on next Sunday, December 2nd for the annual Senior Citizens Christmas party. Mass will be celebrated at 1pm followed by dinner, music and dancing. Next meeting of Moyvane Development Association will take place in the Marian Hall on Tuesday December, 4th at 9pm.

Senior Badminton:
The Division 4 Men’s team secured their third win in a row on Thursday night when they defeated Killarney 4-2 at home. Team was Timmy Hanrahan (Captain), Diarmuid Fitzmaurice, Padraig Kearney and Myles Kearney. On Wednesday the Division 4 Ladies played their first match of the season and they defeated Listowel 8 sets to 7. Team was Eleanor Sheehan (Captain), Francine Collins, Mairead Sheehan and Krystle Crowley. They will play County (Tralee) in Moyvane on Monday night. Next Kerry Competition  for all divisions will be in Killarney on December, 2nd.

Club Lotto: There was no winner of this week’s Jackpot of €9,800. Numbers drawn were 4, 12, 14 and 22.  Lucky Dips of €40 each: Donal Enright, Enright’s Bar. Noreen O’ Flaherty, Moher. Scór na nOg: Congratulations to the Moyvane Ballad Group, Amiee Lindsell, Lisa Mulvihill, Lisa Stackpoole, Laura Stack and Margaret Mulvihill, who qualified for the County Final of Scor na nÓg in the Tintean, Ballybunion on Sunday, December 9th at 2pm.  Well done also to Lisa Mulvihill who gave a lovely rendition of "The Rocks of Bawn" in the Solo Singing category.  Lisa was unlucky not to get the nod from the adjudicators on the day but she should be very proud of her efforts.
Minor NKC Div2 Semi-Final Replay: Moyvane will play Tarbert in Tarbert in the replay of the North Kerry Championship semi final on Sunday, December 9th at 12noon.  Extra time will be played if needed.

  • Fri. 30th, Moyvane, 7.30pm – November Intention. This is a special Mass to remember those who died during the year. A candle will be lit for each person who died since November of last year. If you lost a loved one in the past year please come along and participate in this remembrance Mass. A special candle will also be lit to remember all the children who died during the year, this includes all who died through miscarriage or stillbirth, all who died in tragic circumstances, relatives of parishioners who died during the year and are buried elsewhere.
