Deaths:
The parish was shocked and saddened last week at the untimely death of Gerry Galvin of Leitrim East. Gerry, the perfect family man, finally lost his battle with illness at the age of 51. A perfectionist at everything he did, he was widely known in North Kerry and West Limerick and his funeral was a reflection of his popularity. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him but particularly by his wife Kathleen, daughters Regina & Katie, and son Brendan, his mother, Eileen, brothers John, Tom, Eddie & Mike. Gerry was predeceased by his father Brendan & younger brother Pat. Can I take this opportunity to offer our sincere sympathy to the extended Galvin family on behalf of the parish of Moyvane.
