Moyvane GAA:
Senior Fixtures: Moyvane are away to Ballylongford in Round 6 of the Division 5a County League on Sunday, September 25th at 2:30pm.
Video Race Night: Moyvane GAA would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to making the annual video race night a huge success. To all of sponsors, all who bought horses and participated in the auction race, the staff of Brosnan’s Bar, all club members who helped out on the night, the staff of Inprint, Listowel and Liam Purtill who was, as always, a fantastic M.C.

Club Lotto: Due to the All-Ireland Final the lotto draw had not been held at the time of printing. The results will be published next week. 
Ladies Football: Congratulations to Jack Mulvihill, Aughrim on winning the framed signed Kerry Jersey and thanks to all who bought and sold tickets including players, parents and local businesses and also to  Moyvane GAA for facilitating the draw during the Race Night.

Adult Set Dancing:
Classes with Timmy Woulfe will begin on Monday, September 19th at the Marian Hall at 8pm for beginners only and on Monday, September 26th, beginners at 8pm and all dancers at 8.30pm.

Line Dancing:
Adult Line Dancing classes starting at the Marian Hall on Wednesday September 21st September at 8pm. A great way to keep fit and meet new people.

Moyane/Knockanure Youth Club:
Registration will take place for Youth Club membership on Friday, September 23rd from 8pm-9pm in the Marian Hall….for one night only!! Registration fee of €20 for one family member, €30 for two. Youth Club activities will take place from the Friday night following. Volunteers are needed for Adult Leader positions. In order to guarantee the maximum number of Youth Club nights and trips away we need some willing volunteers to give up some Friday nights for this important community youth service, please ring Pat on (086)6083626

Shannonside No Name Club:

An enrolment night will take place for Fifth year, Transition year and Leaving Cert pupils on Thursday night, September 22nd from 8pm – 9pm in Tarbert Community Centre. Registration fee for the year is €20 and you will also need a passport size photo on the night. A parent or guardian must accompany you on the night and be prepared to help by supervising a night or activity during the year. Looking forward to seeing you all.

Knockfierna Historical Society:
Knockfierna Historical Society are organizing a trip to Kilkenny City & Callan, Co. Kilkenny on Saturday October 1st, leaving at 7.30am. All are welcome to join, this their first organized trip which is to the historic town of Callan, Co. Kilkenny which includes Bro Edmond Rice’s thatched homestead and in the afternoon a visit to the beautiful Kilkenny city which includes Kilkenny Castle & St. Cannice’s Cathedral. This promises to be a most informative and enjoyable outing.
