Moyvane Notes – 28th August, 2006

Moyvane GAA – Seniors:
Moyvane played out an exciting draw with Fossa in the County Novice on Saturday night last. The game was always close with only a few points separating the teams at all times. Moyvane had to rely on the accurate boot of Eddie Bowler to secure the replay, making the final score Moyvane 0-12, Fossa 1-9. No date has yet been set for the replay.

On Saturday night next, Moyvane play Firies in the County League in Firies at the early time of 6.30pm. 

Masses: 
The Saturday evening and Sunday morning masses next weekend will be held in Moyvane Church. Volunteers are needed to replace the seats in the Church next Saturday, 2nd September at 10am.

Golden Jubilee:
The Bishop's visit to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Moyvane Church has been put back to the 30th September. 

Cork City Women's Mini-Marathon:
Ladies! Bóthar is seeking your support on Sunday, 24th September in the annual Mini-Marathon for charity. This year, all Bóthar proceeds will be used to provide a water supply to a village of 1,800 families in northern Tanzania from the source, 4km away. Walk, jog or run the 4mile/6kilometer course.
