VILLAGE FESTIVAL
:
There is no doubt that this was the best Festival to date. I know you’ve heard that many times before but this time it’s true. Friday night kicked off with High Country and The Kilkennys in the Marquee. This was a throw back to the days of Moyvane Carnival and was it some success! The twenty somethings hadn’t even been thought about at the time of Moyvane Carnival. It was the place where their parents met, fell in love and later married. It was great to see the different generations enjoying themselves in a wonderful atmosphere. There is no doubt this will be repeated at next year’s Festival. Saturday night’s Boro Buffet was a sell out affair.Moyvane Notes The meal was excellent and dancing was new to the evening and enjoyed by everyone. The Marian Hall was packed to the rafters for the concert and play presented by the Boro Players on Sunday night. Well done to all involved.
