The death has taken place in Limerick of May Collopy, formerly May Bunce of Leitrim East. She is survived by her sons, Thomas & Michael, daughters, Rena & Maura, brother, Patrick, sisters, Novie, Hannah, Margaret, Teresa & Helen. Her funeral Mass was held on Thursday in The Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Limerick with burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery. Kathleen King formerly Kathleen Stack of Moyvane Village also died during the week. She is survived by her husband, Alphonsus, sons, Eamonn & Stephen, brother Eddie, sisters Joan & Maudie. Her funeral took place on Thursday after Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Douglas with burial afterwards in St. John’s Cemetery, Ballinrea.
The death has also taken place of Ger Mulvihill of Glenalappa East, who recently celebrated his 80th birthday, on Friday after a short illness. He is survived by his wife Bridget, daughters, Margaret, Frances, Kathleen & Eileen, sons, Mike, Patsy, Denis, Dermot, John, Thomas & Nelius. Sympathy is extended to the families.
