As Tidy Towns adjudication time commences in June a village clean up will take place on Wednesday 31st May at 8pm. All welcome to participate.

Congratulations to Seamus Roche on his election to the board of the Kerry Community and Voluntary Forum last week at the Seanachai Centre Listowel.

Seamus has been a voluntary worker for many years in this parish and he will bring a wealth of experience to this Forum. Well done Seamus.

A committee meeting will take place on Tuesday 6th of June in the Marian Hall at 9pm.

 

Everybody is invited to the launch of Gabriel Fitzmaurice s new book, Beat the Goatskin Till the Goat Cries: Notes from a Kerry Village describing life in North Kerry and West Limerick, at the Plaza, Listowel on Friday next June 2nd  at 12 noon.  Admission is free.

 

Comhaltas classes in the Marion Hall moyvane band and group classes with Fintan McMahon will continue for the summer  thr classes foe under 12 15 18 take place every Saturday morning at 10am and costs 5

 

An Arts & Craft Fair will take place next Sunday 4th June from 11am</st1:time> to 5pm</st1:time> at the Seanacha Literary Centre, Listowel, as part of Listowel Writers Week 2006. Items on sale will include woodwork, knitwear, soft toys, ceramics, jewellery, greeting cards & curios.  All are welcome.

 

Death too place Monday morning 29 of  Micheal Mulivhill  suddenly at his home at Gortdrumilly Moyvane  he was 72 years funeral  later

 

 

Death  took place of  Micheal Mickey Murphy Knockanure he was 85 years surived brother and one sister.

 

 The Death took place Seamus Flaherty Letrim East  Moyvane and late of  Tubbereen Moyvane and he was buried in the old cemtory  Knockanure he was 85 years surived by his sister Nura
