Moyvane

Moyvane Notes – 3rd June, 2009

Weather:
At last the sun has decided to shine and not before time. This has been a dreadful year for everybody but particularly for farming, coming after two bad years. Apart from being out for a few weeks, most cows have been indoors since last August. There are no reserves of feed in the country and much of next year’s feed has already been eaten, either by grazing or cutting grass to feed animals. This is a very serious situation so hopefully this good weather will remain with us for many months.
