Moyvane Church:
Moyvane Church re-opened on Saturday night after having been closed for the past three weeks due to renovations. The Church is now looking magnificent, having been re-pained. New, ornate stained windows have also been installed. A new heating system and amplification system has also been installed, the Church has been re-wired and a new toilet facility has been constructed. Our Parish Priest, Fr. John Lucid, deserves great recognition for the co-ordination and carrying-out of the renovations in such a short space of time. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 30th September at 8pm by Bishop Bill Murphy to celebrate the Golden Jubilee (50th Anniversary) of the Church.
Kerry Emigrant Committee:
The Church gate collection for the Kerry Homeless in England amounted to €732.80. We thank most sincerely all those who contributed and those who took up the collection. Míle Buíochas.

Moyvane GAA – Seniors:
Moyvane lost vital ground in our bid to get out of the relegation struggle when we lost to Firies on Saturday night last. We were short a few regulars but that is no excuse, we were still good enough to win. It is now very important for us to get the points on Saturday night next against Scartaglin in Scartaglin at 6.15pm.
