Congratulations to Mary Lynch, Lower Aughrim & Neilus Mulvihill, Glenalappa, who were married in Moyvane Church last Saturday. The reception was held in The Earl of Desmond Hotel. The couple will reside in Lower Aughrim.

Shannonside No Name Club:
The Shannonside No Name Club (Adult Committee) are holding their AGM at the Community Centre on Monday, August 7th @ 8pm. The No Name Club caters for teenagers from 15-18yrs. Anyone interested in joining and helping in the running of the club are very welcome to attend.
Moyvane GAA – Juniors:
Moyvane had a good victory over Beale in the semi-final of the Junior League on Friday night last. The final has yet to be fixed. Next Friday night, Moyvane play in the Barrett Cup. Definite fixture will be clarified later in the week.

Deaths:
The death took place of Joe O'Connell, late of Dooncaha, Tarbert, who died in Lancashire. He also lived in Moyvane village for a time.
