SANTA will visit the Marian Hall next Sunday from 3 p.m., to 5 p.m. All children and their parents are invited. Usual attractions Bonny Baby competition, cake sale, games etc.
The ICA trip to Cork takes place next Wednesday. The bus will leave the village at 8 a.m., and the cost E15 from Eileen Roche or Marie Walsh. Bus will be open during the day so shopping can be stored.
The West Limerick set-dancing club are holding a set ceili in the Convent Hall, Abbeyfeale on Sunday next December 1, at 4 p.m., music by Mort Kelleher. All sets called.
The creamery social held last week-end in the recently refurbished Devon Hotel was an outstanding success.
From 8.30 p.m., to 2.30 a.m., it was non-stop entertainment, apart from the delicious food and numerous spot prizes it featured top comedian Frank Forde and two young talented musicians Dermot Lyons and Marie Griffin appearing together for the first time provided music for all tastes especially Irish and Old Time.
Dancers who came from Killarney to Kildimo vowed we’ll be back.

The Diocesan collection in aid of the Youth Service will be taken up at all Masses next weekend. The Diocesan Youth Service provides an outreach and educational programme for young people.
